How To Raise Millionaire Kids
Even though being rich is not the only goal.
Most of our kids are not going to be rich.
Why?
3 Reasons:
School does a fine job preparing kids for employment and a poor job teaching them how to build wealth
Most parents were never taught about money either, so they end up winging it just like their own parents did.
The financial rules our parents followed like save consistently, stay loyal to one company, or count on a pension, do not apply anymore.
Just to be clear, being rich is not the goal of life.
Come on.
I recognize the importance of being a good person and cultivating qualities like work ethic, kindness, respect, and generosity.
In fact, I am not even a “money motivated” person.
But that does not mean we completely avoid helping our children have a financial advantage.
And I am not talking about making so much money yourself, that you can make them a trust fund baby.
Come onnnnnn.
I am talking about implementing a plan for yourself and for them that:
Teaches them good money skills
Gives them a legit head start
Makes them a contributing member of society
This is actually less about raising rich kids and more about raising decent kids.
I made this video to break down what I am doing for my children, and I break down the Millionaire Kids Flywheel for you.
Check it out. Watch it on 2x speed.

The "school doesn't teach wealth" point is real, but I would push back on framing it as raising millionaires. Most parents I know don't want millionaire kids. They want kids who can read a paystub at 22 and not panic when their first 401k email arrives. That bar is low enough to clear, and it is the one that actually moves outcomes.
